Pallet Logistics is an environmentally conscious company and only purchases logs from local sources from managed forests. Not only does this ensure 1st grade quality it also reduces the carbon footprint on our products.
Our operations support the increased emphasis on wood waste being converted into pellets for use as fuel in power stations and commercial installations. All the by-products from the sawmill are either sold or recycled and we support local bio-fuel projects.
Timber pallets are an extremely environmentally friendly choice of packaging due to the carbon content in the timber and also the ability to repair, re-use and recycle the timber.
